About the Jigsaw Appeal
Special Messages From Our Patrons
Fiona Castle
The Women's Health Unit at Royal Bournemouth Hospital is a centre of medical excellence that so many women look to for help and support during a time of fear and uncertainty. The time has come to match the 5 star care offered by the wonderful 'WHU' team with a 5 star environment - one that will deliver in terms of dignity and privacy. Over the years, I've had the privilege of benefiting from wonderful NHS support. That is why I'm involved today as a patron of the 'Jigsaw Appeal for WOMEN' to help to raise the funds, creating a state of the art Women's Health Unit. Let's give women and their loved ones what they deserve!

It is such a privilege to have been asked to be Patron of THE JIGSAW APPEAL for WOMEN. I know what it is like to have a worrying diagnosis and in my own case, a diagnosis of cancer. It's life changing!
I've been blessed with the energy and determination to make dance my life and I'm still teaching and dancing all over the World. Women who have to visit the Women's Health Unit at Royal Bournemouth Hospital deserve the best.
1 in 9 women in our country will be diagnosed with breast cancer and more than 10,000 women will die from gynaecological cancers - so early detection, in the right environment, has a deeply personal meaning for me.
Patients and health professionals both deserve the right resources and these are key to improving women's chances and to giving them a better experience. I'm going to do all I can to bring success to the JIGSAW APPEAL for WOMEN. This dance champion say's, "Let's raise the £1.5 million as soon as we can. Women - let's show them WE can - and guys - I challenge YOU to raise half the money!"
